Chelsea Football Club Women, formerly Chelsea Ladies Football Club, was founded in 1992 and is based in Kingston upon Thames, London. The club was originally called Chelsea Ladies Football Club and became affiliated with Chelsea Football Club in 2004.
Chelsea FC Women competes in the FA Women's Super League, the top flight of women's football in England. The team plays its home games at Kingsmeadow, with some select games being played at Stamford Bridge.
